With so much focus & hype on cloud technology and time saving solutions these days, business owners could easily be lead to believe that things like mobile apps and bank feeds are the solutions to all their financial recording and reporting problems.  In reality, this couldn’t be further from the truth.  Whilst it’s true that cloud technology is definitely a BIG time saver, a perfect collaboration platform for the business owner and the accountant, a secure data storage solution and the answer to a lot of other problems, it doesn’t set itself up and drive itself on total auto pilot.  Someone with the right skills still needs to implement the technology, set it up to report correctly, code transactions and produce real time relevant reports.
